The AD-Ha `Id is one of the great days of the year on which the pilgrim fulfils the obligations of Hajj. It is also recommended for the pilgrim to offer a sacrifice on that day, with the intention to gain rewards from Allâh, the Exalted. This act is a regularly practised sunnah by the Prophet. Hence, the pilgrim and the non-pilgrim can practise this sunnah. This is evidenced in the ayah: فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ the meaning of which is: « Perform the `Id Prayer and offer a sacrifice seeking reward from Allâh. »
Allâh the exalted said in the Holy Qur'ân in Surat-TaHrim: يا أيها الذين ءامنوا قوا أنفسَكم وأهليكُم نارا وقودُها الناسُ والحجارة This ayah means: « O you who believed protect yourselves and your families from Hellfire, which is fuelled by people and stones. » Prophet MuHammad peace be upon Him said what means: « Every one of you is a guardian over his dependents and is responsible for the action of these persons who are dependent on him. »
Islam constitutes rights for woman as it does for men. This fairness is clearly stated in the Holy Qur’an. Allâh said in Surat Al-Baqarah Ayah 228 This glorious Ayah indicates that men are bound to rights and duties, which they have to give to woman, as woman are bound to rights and duties, which they have to give to men, as ordered by Allâh the Exalted.
`Uzayr, whose story was briefly mentioned in the Qur’ân, was a pious Muslim from the descendents of Prophet Israel i.e. Ya`qub. We bring you his story in detail because of what it shows of God’s great Might.
Among what the Prophet conveyed and is obligatory to believe in are: the Day of Judgment, it begins when the people come out of their graves and lasts until the people of Paradise reside in Paradise and the people of Hell in Hell. And the Resurrection is when the graves open and the people come out of them for the judgment. And Assembly: the people will be gathered at a place to be questioned about their deeds.
