Brief Biography of Prophet Muḥammad

The Prophet Muḥammad Peace and blessings be upon him is the last of the Prophets Messengers sent by God to renew the call to Islam. He was born in Mecca, He comes from the most noble Arab tribe, the tribe of Quraysh. The Prophet Muḥammad is the son of ^Abdou l-Lah son of ^Abdou l-Mouttalib. He is the best being created.

Miracles of our Prophet Muḥammad

The miracles of the prophet are numerous. Among the miracles of the Prophet, Sallallâhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, and the best Miracle that can still be seen today, is the miracle of the Holy Qur’ân, The Qur’ân is a miracle which stands as proof of the truthfulness of our Master Muḥammad, Salla lLâhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, and that he was a Prophet sent by Allâh.

Prophet Muḥammad Praised in Al Qur’ân

Allâh raised the rank of the Prophet Muḥammad, Peace and blessings be upon him, in all aspects. The Messenger of Allah had the most beautiful face and character. God granted him perfect eloquence, valid reason, and exemplary conduct, both for his laudable character and for his exemption from defects.

Prophet Muḥammad’s praised Manners

He is Muḥammad, whom Allâh has given manners that were all what the Qur’ân ordered to do, he is Muḥammad who accepts what the Honourable Qur’an calls to accept, he followed the manners and conducts that the Qur’an called for and abided by its orders. He never revenged on his own behalf unless the boundaries of the Religion were violated. He is Muḥammad whom ar-Raḥmân has sent as a mercy to this nation. He is Muḥammad, the most courageous and brave man when confronting the enemy.

Birth of Prophet Muḥammad Amazing Events Occured on Mawlid

Al-Bayhaqiyy reported according to Ibnu ʿAbbas that he said: the prophet was born the year of the elephant. One must believe he was born in Makkah and sent as a Messenger therein; he immigrated to al-Madinah and was buried therein ; and he was truthful in everything he told about and conveyed from Allâh.

The Types of Blasphemy and Blasphemers (Kufr)

Blasphemy is the opposite of belief, just as darkness is the opposite of light. It is of three types: likening God to the creation (tashbih), contradicting (takdhib), and denying (ta^til). Blasphemers are of two types: one is the original blasphemer, the other one is the apostate (murtadd).

Eid Al Aḍ-ḥā Eid al-kebir 2026 1447 H

The Aḍ-ḥā ʿId is one of the great days of the year on which the pilgrim fulfils the obligations of Hajj. It is also recommended for the pilgrim to offer a sacrifice on that day, with the intention to gain rewards from Allâh, the Exalted. This act is a regularly practised sunnah by the Prophet. Hence, the pilgrim and the non-pilgrim can practise this sunnah. This is evidenced in the ayah: فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ the meaning of which is: « Perform the ʿId Prayer and offer a sacrifice seeking reward from Allâh. »

The Description of Prophet Muḥammad

The Prophet was not extremely tall, nor was he short. He had a white complexion and black hair. The Prophet’s hair was not straight rather it was slightly curly and long down to his shoulders. His smell was nicer than the pure musk itself. He had a clear forehead, long eyelashes, broad shoulders and a firm stomach. The Prophet was fast in his walk, and it was narrated that seeing his face one would think that the sun is rising from it.

Ashura Fasting the 10th day of Muḥarram

ʿĀchûrâ’ is the 10th day of Muḥarram. Fasting the day of ʿĀchûrâ’ has been unanimously agreed upon by scholars of Islam to be a sunnah deed.

The Amazing Signs during the Birth of the Prophet Muḥammad

Many signs accompanied the honorable birth of the Prophet. Al-Bayhaqiyy, Ibn ʿAsakir and others narrated from the route of Hani’ ِl-Makhzumi that he said, « On the night of the birth of the Messenger of Allâh, the palace of Kisra (the King of the Persians) shook and fourteen balconies fell from it. The fire of the Persians which had been burning continuously for one thousand years went out. The lake of Sa wah (in Persia) dried up. »
