Importance of acquiring Islamic Knowledge by Oral Transmission

The high status of knowledge has been clearly established in Islam through explicit texts in the Qur'an and the Hadith as well as in the writings of the scholars of Islam. Allâh said in Surat Al-Mujadalah, Ayah 11 which means: « Allâh raises the ranks of those among you who believe and those who were granted the knowledge. » Also, Allâh said in Surat Az-Zumar, Ayah 9 which means: « Those who know are not the same as those who do not know. » In the hadith related by Al-Bayhaqiyy, the Messenger of Allâh Muḥammad Sallâ lLâhou `alayhi wa sallam said which means: « Seeking the knowledge of the Religion is obligatory on every Muslim. »

Eid Al Aḍ-ḥā Eid al-kebir 2023 1444 H

The Aḍ-ḥā `Id is one of the great days of the year on which the pilgrim fulfils the obligations of Hajj. It is also recommended for the pilgrim to offer a sacrifice on that day, with the intention to gain rewards from Allâh, the Exalted. This act is a regularly practised sunnah by the Prophet. Hence, the pilgrim and the non-pilgrim can practise this sunnah. This is evidenced in the ayah: فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ the meaning of which is: « Perform the `Id Prayer and offer a sacrifice seeking reward from Allâh. »

Laws and Rules of inheritance in Islam

It is invalid to divide the inheritance of a deceased person or to sell the inheritance until the debts and the zakât which was obligatory on him have been fulfilled. Something may be sold to pay off a debt or fulfill the will. The expenses of performing Hajj and `Umrah on behalf of the deceased must be taken out if the Hajj and `Umrah were obligatory on him and he did not perform them. The Essentials Of Islamic Belief

The Story of Zam Zam water

There was Angel Jibrîl peace be upon him, who hit the ground with his wing until fresh and pure water emerged. That became known as Zamzam water. The mother of Isma`îl gathered the water with her hands and collected it in her container while it was springing out. Jibrîl said: « Do not fear loss, for there is a sacred House here which will be built by this child and his father, » meaning Isma`îl and his father Ibrâhîm peace be upon them both. Hajar drank from Zamzam water quenching her thirst and breast-fed her son Ismâ`il. She thanked Allâh, the One who endows countless bounties upon His slaves.
