The obligation on the believers of fasting Ramaḍân is known from the Qur’ân and the Hadîth. The Essentials Of Islamic Belief
Islam is the Religion of all the Prophets of Allâh starting with Adam and ending with Muḥammad. In Arabic Islam means submission.
