The Sin of Hurting the Parents
Hurting one’s parents immensely (ʿuquq) is among the major sins. Allâh threatened the one who does it with severe torture in Hellfire. This means to harm either or both parents immensely (causing them a lot of pain). Hurting one’s parents is unlawful whether it is severe or light.

Sins of the Tongue in Islam
The tongue is one of many endowments Allâh bestowed upon His slaves. The heart is the leader of the organs ; if the heart is devoted to piety then the rest of the organs will follow its lead, and consequently, the person will become pious ; likewise, if the heart is corrupted, the rest of the organs will follow in corruption, and consequently, the person will become a sinner. Eid Al-Fiṭr 2024 1445 and Zakat of Fiṭr
Also note that it is obligatory upon individuals who fulfil certain conditions to pay Zakah of Fitr. Zakah of fitr is an obligation on every Muslim who is alive at the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Shawwâl.
